MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514031766 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on March 31, for 'display device and electronic device.'

Inventor(s) include Youngjin Cho; Jaedu Noh; Changyeol Lee; Soyoung Jang; and Eunbyul Jo.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device (1) includes first to fourth pixels, wherein each of the first to fourth pixels includes first to third sub-pixels, a first data connection pattern (DCP1a, DCP1b) electrically connected to a first data line (DL1) by a first contact hole and electrically connected to the second sub-pixel of the second pixel (SP2b), and a second data connection pattern (DCP2a, DCP2b) electrically connected to a second data line (DL2) by a second contact hole and electrically connected to the second sub-pixel (SP2d) of the fourth pixel (Pd), wherein, in a plan view, the first contact hole is disposed between the emission area (EA3) of the third subpixel (SP3b) of the first pixel (Pa) and the emission area (EA3) of the third sub-pixel (SP3b) of the second pixel (Pb), and in a plan view, the first contact hole and the second contact hole are disposed in a row in the second direction (DR2)."
