MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092327 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 26, for 'display device and driving method therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Byun, Min Woo; Kwak, Won Kyu; Jeong, Seon I; Kim, Min Joo; Jeon, Dong Hwan; and Hwang, Sung Chan.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device of the present invention comprises a pixel unit comprising a plurality of pixels, wherein one pixel, among the pixels, is connected to a first scan line, a second scan line, a third scan line, a fourth scan line, and a fifth scan line, and at least one frame period includes a first period in which, while a turn-on-level scan signal is applied to the third scan line, turn-off-level scan signals are applied to the first scan line, the second scan line, the fourth scan line, and the fifth scan line."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 26, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/001276.
