MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514032343 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on April 1, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Chang-Yeol Lee; Hansol Kim; Joong-Soo Moon; Youngjin Cho; and Jaewon Kim.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a display device (DD) including a detection line (EL-T) disposed in a nondisplay area (NDA), first power lines (PL1-1 to PL1-n) connected to pixels (PX) to provide a first driving voltage (ELVDD), and a second power line (PL2) including first lines (PL2-1 to PL2-e) and a second line (PL2-S) that provides a second driving voltage (ELVSS) to the pixels (PX), wherein the detection line (EL-T) includes extension lines (EL-D) spaced apart from each other by the display area (DA), a bridge line (EL-B) connected to the first power lines (PL1-1 to PL1-n), and connection lines (EL-C) connecting one of the extension lines (EL-D) and an end portion of the bridge line (EL-B) as well as another one of the extension lines (EL-D) and another end portion of the bridge line (EL-B), and the second power line (PL2) overlaps the connection lines (EL-C) in a plan view."
