MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514032582 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on April 2, for 'display device.'

Inventor(s) include Young Jin Cho; Joong Soo Moon; Min Ku Lee; Seung Hee Lee; and Eun Byul Jo.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device (10) includes: a pad area (PA) in a non-display area (NDA) of a substrate (SUB); a first cluster pad (PD1) and a second cluster pad (PD2) in a pad area (PA); and routing lines on the substrate (SUB) and electrically connected from the display area (DA) to the first cluster pad (PD1) and the second cluster pad (PD2), wherein the routing lines include a first routing line (DRL1) extending to the first cluster pad (PD1) and a second routing line (DRL2) extending to the second cluster pad (PD2), the first routing line (DRL1) and the second routing line (DRL2) are adjacent, the first routing line (DRL1) includes a first middle portion (MTP1) extending in a second direction (DR2) crossing a first direction (DR1) that is a horizontal direction, and the second routing line (DRL2) includes a second middle portion (MTP2) adjacent to and parallel to the first middle portion (MTP1), and the first middle portion (MTP1) and the second middle portion (MTP2) are between the first cluster pad (PD1) and the second cluster pad (PD2)."
