MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517089466 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 19, for 'display device.'

Inventor(s) include Shim, Jong Sik; Kim, Su Jin; Byun, Min Woo; Jeon, Dong Hwan; Kim, Min Joo; Oh, Kyong Hwan; Jeong, Seon I; and Hwang, Sung Chan.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in one embodiment of the present invention is a display device comprising: a first electrode and a second electrode arranged to be spaced apart from each other; a third electrode, which is arranged on the first electrode and overlaps the first electrode and the second electrode; a fourth electrode, which is arranged on the third electrode and overlaps the third electrode; and a fifth electrode, which is arranged on the fourth electrode, overlaps the fourth electrode and is electrically connected to the third electrode."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 21, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/002283.
