MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079768 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 22, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Han, Hyeyun; Kim, Eunyoung; and Bang, Gyeongnam.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a display device. The display device comprises a display panel and an input sensor disposed thereon. The input sensor may include insulating layers, sensing patterns, and dummy patterns disposed with the sensing patterns and insulating layers between the dummy patterns. The dummy patterns may overlap, in the sensing patterns, disconnected areas of line components or spaced areas of line patterns."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/020423.
