MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072767 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 31, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Shin, Jae Min; and Yoon, Joo Sun.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device according to an embodiment comprises: a substrate which includes a display area and a non-display area; a light-emitting element layer which is disposed on the display area and includes a pixel electrode, an organic light-emitting layer, and a common electrode; a circuit unit which is disposed on the non-display area and includes a plurality of circuit transistors; and a pixel-defining layer which extends from the display area to the circuit unit, wherein the pixel-defining layer includes a plurality of openings overlapping the circuit unit, and the plurality of openings do not overlap the plurality of circuit transistors."
