MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059542 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on June 21, for 'display device.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Dae Hyeon; Lee, Chang Min; Lee, Hyun Shik; Kim, Hong Il; and Hwang, Jae Hoon.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a display device comprising: a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode disposed on a first substrate; an intermediate layer located on the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode and capable of emitting a first light; a counter electrode located on the intermediate layer; a first color filter located on the counter electrode and overlapping the first pixel electrode in plane view; an organic material layer located between the counter electrode and the first color filter; and a second color filter located on the counter electrode and overlapping the second pixel electrode in plane view, wherein the first light has an X value of 0. 220 to 0.222 and a Y value of 0.225 to 0.309 in CIE color coordinates, and the first light is transmitted through the organic material layer along a substantially straight path."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 16, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018497.
