MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514088488 A) filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 17, 2025, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Lee, Dongyoon; Hwang, Seonghwan; Gang, Byeonguk; Kim, Hyunjin; Hwang, Insu; and Pyo, Jooyoung.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device (100) including an active layer (ACT), a gate insulating film (640) disposed on the active layer (ACT) and having a first opening (H1); a first electrode (E1) electrically connected to at least a portion of the first area (CT1) in the first opening (H1); a second electrode (E2) disposed on the gate insulating film (640); a protective layer (630) disposed on the first electrode (E1) and the second electrode (E2) and having a second opening (H2); and a pixel electrode (PE) disposed on the protective layer (630) and electrically connected to the first electrode (E1) in the second opening (H2)."
