MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514072493 A) filed by Lg Display Co. Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 30, 2025, for 'display device.'
Inventor(s) include Yun, Jaeheon; Oh, Jaeyoung; and Lee, Jinyoung.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display device (100) according to an embodiment of the present specification includes a substrate (110) including a display area (AA) and an optical area (OA) surrounded by the display area (AA) and including a through-hole (TH), a dam (DAM) disposed in the optical area (OA) on the substrate (110) and configured to surround the through-hole (TH), a plurality of anti-connection parts (CP) disposed in the optical area (OA) on the substrate (110) and disposed to be closer to the through-hole (TH) than the dam (DAM), and a metal pattern (125, 225) disposed between the plurality of anti-connection parts (CP). Therefore, it is possible to improve visibility of the optical area (OA)."
