MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514032467 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on April 2, for 'display apparatus and electronic apparatus including the display apparatus.'
Inventor(s) include Changyeol Lee; Jaewon Kim; Hansol Kim; Jaedu Noh; Jaesic Lee; Soyoung Jang; and Youngjin Cho.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display apparatus (1) that may include a substrate (100) that may include an active area (AA) and a dummy area (DA), a pixel circuit (PC) in the active area (AA) and a lightemitting element (E) electrically connected to the pixel circuit (PC) and including a pixel electrode, a dummy circuit (DC) in the dummy area (DA), a repair line (RL) extending in a first direction over the substrate (100), electrically connected to the dummy circuit (DC), and is connectable to the light-emitting element (E), a pixel connection electrode overlapping the repair line (RL) and electrically connected to the pixel electrode, and a voltage transfer line (1610) overlapping the repair line (RL), spaced apart from the pixel connection electrode, and configured to transfer a voltage to the pixel circuit (PC), wherein an area of a portion of the voltage transfer line (1610) overlapping the repair line (RL) may be greater than an area of a portion of the pixel connection electrode overlapping the repair line (RL)."
