MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514036275 A) filed by Samsung Display Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on April 15, for 'display apparatus and an electronic device including the same.'
Inventor(s) include Donghun Nam; Donghyun Son; Eunhye Kim; and Sola Lee.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A display apparatus (1) includes: a substrate (100) including a first area (MDA) in which first sub-pixels (Pm) are disposed and a second area (CA) in which basic units (AU) are disposed, the basic units (AU) including transmission areas (TA) and sub-pixel groups (PG) including second sub-pixels (Pa); first lines (DL1: DL1-1, DL1-2, DL1-3) extending in a first direction and electrically connected to the first sub-pixels (Pm), the first lines 10 (DL1: DL1-1, DL1-2, DL1-3) each including a first sub-line (DL1-1a, DL1-2a, DL1-3a) and a second sub-line (DL1-1b, DL1-2b, DL1-3b) apart from each other with the second area (CA) therebetween; first connection lines (DNL: DNL1, DNL2, DNL3) disposed in the first area (MDA) and each connecting the first sub-line (DL1-1a, DL1-2a, DL1-3a) and the second sub-line (DL1-1b, DL1-2b, DL1-3b) of each of the first lines (DL1: DL1-1, DL1-2, 15 DL1-3) to each other; and second lines (DL2) extending in the first direction and electrically connected to the second sub-pixels (Pa)."
