MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641006720 A) filed by Ravindra College Of Engineering For Women, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, on Jan. 23, for 'dietary recommendation system based on machine learning.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a machine learning-based dietary recommendation system designed to provide personalized diet plans according to an individual's health profile. The system utilizes a Decision Tree Classifier to analyze multiple parameters including age, gender, body mass index (BMI), disease type, disease severity, physical activity level, and dietary restrictions. Based on the processed data, the system classifies users into suitable diet categories such as Low-Carbohydrate, Low-Sodium, or Balanced diets. The trained model enables real-time dietary recommendations by storing and reusing learned patterns, thereby ensuring fast and accurate results. The invention supports effective management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, improves dietary adherence, and promotes overall health and wellness through data-driven nutritional guidance."
