MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517075328 A) filed by The Japan Steel Works, Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 7, for 'die for extrusion molding, film manufacturing apparatus, and film manufacturing method.'
Inventor(s) include Yamashita, Shohei; Kushizaki, Yoshiyuki; Chikaraishi, Atsushi; and Shiotani, Tomoaki.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "According to the present invention, when a virtual line passing through the center of a resin introduction part 31 and reaching an opening portion 25 along the Y direction is defined as a center axis 32c, a boundary BL34 between a land portion 33 and a land portion 34 includes: an area R1 including a portion intersecting the center axis 32c; an area R2 disposed between the area R1 and one end portion in the X direction of the boundary between the land portion 33 and land portion 34; and an area R3 disposed between the area R1 and the other end portion in the X direction of the boundary between the land portion 33 and the land portion 34. A flow path length FPL1 from the boundary between the land portion 33 and the land portion 34 to the opening portion 25: gradually changes from the area R1 side to the one end portion at a first change rate in the area R2; gradually changes from the area R1 side to the other end portion at the first change rate in the area R3; and is constant or changes at a smaller change rate than the first change rate in the area R1."
