MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541088782 A) filed by Sr University, Warangal, Telangana, on Sept. 17, 2025, for 'diagnosis system for under-represented endocrine diseases from heterogeneous medical data inputs.'
Inventor(s) include Balajee Maram; and Dr. A Giridhar Babu.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A diagnosis system (100) for underrepresented endocrine diseases from heterogeneous medical data inputs is disclosed. The diagnosis system (100) comprises a client device (102) comprising a first processor (104). A second processor (106) located on an application server (108). The diagnosis system (100) is configured to: acquire heterogeneous medical data assign each data type to a corresponding neural network stream; extract modality-specific features from each of the neural network streams; perform multimodal fusion of the extracted features using an attention-based fusion layer to generate a unified diagnostic representation; classify the unified diagnostic representation using a classification layer to predict a probable endocrine disorder along with a confidence score; and generate an interpretable diagnostic report. The diagnosis system (100) processes heterogeneous medical inputs such as imaging data, laboratory reports, genomic sequences, and clinical notes in a unified framework."
