MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544032539 A) filed by General Electric Technology Gmbh, Baden, Switzerland, on April 2, for 'device for synchronizing a partial discharge monitoring system.'

Inventor(s) include Juge, Patrice; and Lebreton, Raphael.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention concerns a device (100) for providing a synchronisation signal to identify partial discharges 5 in a GIS comprising: - an AC reference switch device (20), comprising a plurality of inputs for inputting a plurality of synchronisation signals from a plurality of sensors, said switch device comprising means for selecting an input among said plurality of inputs based on the presence of a synchronisation signals ; 10 - an AC inverter (30) to provide a power and synchronisation signal, based on said synchronisation signal provided by said AC reference switch device (20)."
