According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for refurbishing road surface, comprises of an elongated body 101 having a proximal and distal end, a handle 102 that is gripped by a user to manipulate a circular disc 106, an input module 103 to provide input commands for repairing a road surface, an inspection module 104 to detect distance of the surface, a linear actuator 105 to extend/retract to position the body 101 in close proximity to the surface, a road assessment module to detect cracks along with their dimensions and evaluate necessary repairing operations, a repairing module 107 to perform repairing operation over the detected cracks, a debris collection unit 115 to extract residue generated during repairing operation."
