More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a device for packaging fragile items. The device (100) includes a corrugated fibre board plate (102) to accommodate fragile items (104) and assembled by affixing a paper label (106) to form a single package unit (100) which is packed in a paper pouch (700) or paper board wrapper (800) or any combination thereof. A set of supporting protrusions (108, 109) is die-cut and creased to form uniformly spaced openings (108-1, 108-2), (109-1, 109-2), (108-3, 108-4) and (109-3, 109-4) on corrugated fibre board plate (102) to mitigate shock, vibration and compression, ensuring the integrity of fragile items (104) during storage, transport and display. The present invention relates to a cost-effective device for packaging fragile items such as agricultural food including but not limited to raw eggs, boiled eggs or baked eggs."
