MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079863 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'device for manufacturing glass decorative articles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for manufacturing glass decorative articles, comprising a housing 1 associated with device, configured with multiple motorized wheels 2 maneuver housing 1 over a ground surface, a chamber 3 store various glass containers within chamber 3, a touch enabled screen 4 enter details regarding cutting design of a glass container along with color of design to be painted over container, a motorized clamp 5 position container over a platform 6, followed by positioning container within cold water filled within a vessel 9 results in cutting of glass in a precise manner, a brush 10 apply an adhesive solution over surface a pneumatic gripper 13 to stick various decorative strips positioned within housing 1 over container as per user's requirement, and a pneumatic bar attached within housing 1, configured with a painting brush 10 for applying paint as per user's commands over container."
