MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024877 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'device for maintaining a roof surface.'
Inventor(s) include Sandeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for maintaining a roof surface, comprises a rectangular base 1 having four telescopic legs 2 underneath the base 1 with motorized wheel 3 with brake shoe moves the base 1 on the roof surface, a fixing clay storage container 4 stores fixing clay, a nuts and bolts storage box stores nut and bolts, a robotic arm 5 having a sand paper 6 finishes the roof surface, robotic link 7 having a brush 8 cleans the roof surface, a robotic limb 9 fixes clay for fixing a roof panel, an imaging unit 11 captures images of vicinity of the base 1, a sensing module detects a loose roof panel and dust, a microphone 12 receives audio commands."
