MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026132 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'device for insulating a bottle.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jyoti Singh; Dr. Pallavi Ahirrao; Ankit Verma; and Sarthak.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for insulating a bottle comprises of a cylindrical housing 1 having a base plate at its bottom, a spiral conduit 2 on an inner surface of the housing 1 to surround the bottle, a first end of the conduit 2 is connected to a reservoir 3 part having a pump, of a two-part chamber, a second end of the conduit 2 is attached to a cooled part of the chamber having a Peltier unit, an iris hole is provided between the reservoir 3 part and the cooled part for flow of a coolant in the chamber, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit installed on the housing 1 to determine a position of the bottle, a projection unit on the housing 1 to project an image to guide a user to insert the bottle in the housing 1."
