MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023472 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'device for holding a television onto a wall.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for holding a television onto a wall comprises a rectangular base 1 having plurality of suction cups 2 on a rear surface for attaching to a wall surface, a pair of first robotic arms 3 attached to a lower edge of the base 1, a pair of second robotic arms 4 attached to each side edge of the base 1, each of the first robotic arms 3 having a rubberized gripper at its end for holding the television, an L-shaped telescopic rod 5 hold an ultraviolet shield layer parallel to the television held by the grippers to block ultraviolet rays, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 installed on the rectangular base 1 detecting a location of the user with respect to the television, and a sensing module attached to the base 1 measures a proximity of the user from the television."
