MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202444099833 A) filed by Man Energy Solutions Se, Augsburg, Germany, on Dec. 17, 2024, for 'device for generating energy from compressed air, system having such a device and method for operating the system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for generating energy from compressed air, having an air turbine (16) which is equipped for expanding gaseous air, starting out from a first pressure level to a second pressure level and in the process produce first energy, having a combustion chamber (17) which is equipped for receiving the air expanded in the air turbine and combust fuel in the same, and having an exhaust gas turbine (18) which is equipped for expanding exhaust gas generated during the combustion of the fuel in the combustion chamber (17) and in the process produce second energy, wherein at least the air turbine and the exhaust gas turbine have a common housing."
