MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023105 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'device for demolition and scraping of concrete flooring.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for demolition and scraping of concrete flooring, comprising a rectangular base 1 with a first continuous track 2 for propulsion, a first hydraulic actuator 3 located at each of two adjacent vertices of base 1 and a second hydraulic actuator 4 located at each of two adjacent vertices of base 1 for demolition of concrete flooring and for maintaining positional stability of base 1 respectively, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 recognize different materials, a plunger 6 for demolishing concrete floor by plunging angular end into concrete flooring, a roller 7 for levelling demolished concrete flooring, a robotic arm 8 for picking up large pieces of debris in a container 9 with a second continuous track 10 and container 9 is removably attached to base 1 by a coupler 11."
