MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541115581 A) filed by Alle, Uday Kumar; and Dudam, Sailaja, Jagtiyal, Telangana, on Nov. 22, 2025, for 'device for controlled dispensing of dental material and method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Alle, Uday Kumar; Dudam, Sailaja; Thote, Abhishek Madhukar; and Singh, Yash Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device (100) for controlled dispensing of dental materials across orthodontic, prosthodontic, and restorative applications is disclosed. Device (100) comprises a cartridge (102) stores dental materials across viscosity range from 10 to 300,000 centipoise, actuator (104) connected with cartridge (102) to dispense the stored dental material, and controller (106) controls dispensing operations. Controller (106) stores application-specific dispensing profiles that define predefined dispensing volumes corresponding to orthodontic attachments bonding, prosthodontic cementation and restorative material application. A calibration unit (108) generates calibration data based on material viscosities, enabling the controller (106) to compensate for viscosity variations during dispensing. Anti-drip retraction mechanism (110) retracts actuator (104) by predetermined distance after dispensing to prevent excess flow of dental material. The device (100) further comprises a plunger (102-1) pushes dental material, and interchangeable nozzle (112) for aseptic delivery in both intraoral and extraoral applications."
