MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073933 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 30, 2024, for 'device for carrying garbage.'
Inventor(s) include Prince Thakur; Dr. Ratan Bisui; Khushi Garg; and Mehak Vyas.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for carrying garbage, comprising a cuboidal container 1 having three omnidirectional motorized wheels 2 for locomotion of the container 1, telescopic rods 3 having a soft coating for a user to acquire a grip onto the rods 3, rectangular plate 4 by a hinge joint 5 for a covering of the garbage in the container 1, telescopic bar 6 having a rectangular flap 7 at its end attached by a ball and socket joint 8 for evenly distributing the garbage in the container 1, nozzles 9 connected to a water tank 10 with a pump via a conduit 11 for spraying a pressurized water for cleaning of the container 1 and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 12 for recording and processing images in a vicinity of the container 1 to determine a spilling garbage."
