MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024142 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'device for adapting computer mice of different sizes for a user.'
Inventor(s) include Yuvraj Singh; Ramratan; Richa Mehta; Sonia Bhukra; and Bhupinder Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A device for adapting computer mice of different sizes for a user, comprising a base platform 1 with a circular hole for an optical sensor of a mouse, two angular members 2 attached with a wheel 3 in the platform 1 to engage the wheel 3 with a left click, a right click and a scroll wheel 3 respectively of the mouse, a motorized roller 4, provided at the rear of the platform 1 having mouse pad fabric to deploy the fabric on surface, a motorized cable roller 5 provided at the platform 1 to hold a coil of a mouse cable, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 6 installed on the platform 1 to determine a length of loose cable and a microphone 7 provided on the platform 1 for receiving audio commands from the user."
