Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Device Discovery For Aggregated Wtru' Filed by Interdigital Patent Holdings, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091566 A) filed by Interdigital Patent Holdings, Inc., Wilmington, U.S.A., on Sept. 24, for 'device discovery for aggregated wtru.'

Inventor(s) include Sarathchandra, Magurawalage Chathura Madhusanka; Rao, Jaya; Ahmad, Saad; and Starsinic, Michael.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products for wireless device discovery of aggregated devices. For example, a wireless device may be configured to discover other wireless devices with the assistance of an anchor wireless device and/or a network, such as to create or join an aggregation with the other wireless devices. The aggregation may provide and/or consume services associated with an application. For example, a wireless device may be configured to establish connectivity with the other wireless devices with the assistance of an anchor wireless device and/or a network, such as to create or join the aggregation."

The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 25, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/021271.
