MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517064125 A) filed by Crepas Technologies Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 4, for 'device and method for driving sidm piezo actuator.'
Inventor(s) include Joo, Sung Jun; and Oh, Chang Jun.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a device and a method for driving an SIDM piezo actuator, and the device for driving a piezo actuator, of the present invention, comprises: a first main switch and a second main switch which are serially connected between a first voltage and a second voltage, and which have a contact point connected to one end of an inductor; a third main switch and a fourth main switch which are serially connected between the first voltage and the second voltage, and which have a contact point connected to the other end of the inductor; and a first resonance switch, the piezo actuator and a second resonance switch serially connected between one end and the other end of the inductor, wherein a resonance loop is formed by connecting the piezo actuator and the inductor during a resonance period in which the first resonance switch and the second resonance switch are turned on, and thus the energy pre-charged in the inductor can be provided to the piezo actuator."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 15, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/000707.
