MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011200 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'desk organizing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Chinmaya Kumar Mohapatra.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A desk organizing device comprises of a rectangular base 101 having multiple suction cups 102 provided for mounting onto a desk surface, multiple rectangular plate 103 disposed vertically on the base 101 via hinges provided on sliding units 104 installed on the base 101 for creating separate adjustable partitions, an imaging unit 105 determine position and dimensions of items placed on the base, plurality of cuboidal chamber 106 attached on an upper portion of the base 101 for storage of smaller items, a rectangular flap 107 installed on an upper surface by means of a slider 108 for opening or closing of the chamber 106, an LDR (light dependent resistor) provided on the base 101 for detecting am ambient light level, multiple LEDs 109 for illumination, and an air blower 110 mounted on the base 101 by means of a ball and socket joint for directing air towards user."
