MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026170 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'design intricating device for hats.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A design intricating device for hats, comprising a platform 1 installed with a cylindrical shaped body 2 developed to be positioned with a top hat, plurality of plates 3 hinged with each other via motorized hinges 4 for deploying the plates 3 to an extent that the plates 3 are properly in contact with the hat, artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 for capturing multiple images of the hat accommodated on the body 2, telescopically operated clamp 6 to extend for gripping and dragging down the hat properly through the body 2 till surface of the platform 1, touch interactive display panel 7 is accessed by the user for feeding an input corresponding to a design which needs to be intricated on the hat, hydraulically operated U-shaped frame 8 to translate the frame 8 around the hat for performing intricate designs on the hat by applying optimal pressure."
