MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541113835 A) filed by Dr. P. Arivalagan; M. Charan; K. Abel Jesuswin; P. Deepak; and. Arunn, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Nov. 19, 2025, for 'design and fabrication of automated wall cleaning and painting machine.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. P. Arivalagan; M. Charan; K. Abel Jesuswin; P. Deepak; and. Arunn.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Painting is process in which the surface is coated by a fluid substance either emulsion or primer for protecting the surface from external agents and to last for long term. The main disadvantage of the painting walls is that it requires skilled labour for better surface finish. The whole process is a time-consuming process. If the uniformity in the application of paint on the surface is not maintained, repainting will be necessary. All these were added for the requirement of painting process. The "Automated wall cleaning and painting machine" is an automated machine which can be used for cleaning and painting the wall easily and efficiently. The machine itself cleans, paints and dries the wall with the help of sensors. So, the skilled labour can be reduced and since jet nozzles are used for applying paint, excess flow of paint can be neglected and thus we' can reduce the material loss. The time consumption for the preparation of painting operation can be reduced as well as the human fatigue can be avoided. The operation can be controlled by a single operator itself and the labour cost can also be reduced. The machine is designed for portability, so that it can be moved from one place to another. Dismantling can be done and the machine can be transported with . ease. So, the machine will be a breakthrough in the industry for painting the walls in an efficient manner."
