MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018775 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 3, for 'descending assistive device for pet.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A descending assistive device for pet, comprising a housing 101 affixed with boot space of a four wheeler by means of plurality of suction units 102 arranged beneath housing 101 to create a negative pressure to affix housing 101 with boot space, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 103 installed over housing 101 determines distance of ground surface from boot space, a motorized sliding unit 104 installed over inner periphery of housing 101 to provide translation to a platform 105 configured with sliding units 104 in order to protrude out of housing 101 via an opening crafted over housing 101, plurality of extendable plates 106 are configured with front end of platform 105 in a sequential manner by means of multiple motorized hinge joints."
