MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541120987 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'dentist camping chair with collapsible seats and solar powered utilities.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses a dentist camping chair with collapsible seats, reclining capability, and solar-powered utilities for outdoor dental care. The system is built on a movable deck (1) with all foldable components collapse compactly for efficient storage and mobility. The movable deck (1) is equipped with wheels (2) and a main handle (12) for convenient transportation and repositioning at camping sites. The chair incorporates a seating pad (7), a foldable armrest (6), a retractable knee-resting pad (3) supported by a stabilizing arm (4), and a retractable waist-supporting pad (5) with angle-adjustment to position the patient ergonomically during examinations and procedures. An oral cleaning tool (11) is mounted on the deck to carry out cleaning and procedural steps. The dental chair also includes a ceiling-suspended poles (9) with linear vertical extenders (13) to support a solar-panel roof (10). Solar panel supply power for dental instruments and support treatments in remote outdoor environmentsallow pati."
