MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026126 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'dental operation assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A dental operation assistive device, comprising a trapezoidal-shaped body 1 positioned over a ground surface near a dental health care center, multiple motorized wheels 2 maneuvers body 1 over surface, a laser sensor determines level of surface, a telescopically operated rod 3 stabilizes body 1 over surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 detects presence and exact location of operation table, a LiDAR sensor detects dimensions and body 1 contours of patient, a motorized drawer arrangement modulates shape of body 1 for allowing a healthcare professional to perform dental operations on patient without any hindrance, two holes are accessed by healthcare professional while examining patient, a touch enabled screen 5 to give input commands regarding type of dental operation is to performed, and a robotic arm 7 provide equipment onto a box."
