MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647036164 A) filed by Google Llc, Mountain View, U.S.A., on March 25, for 'delay status reporting enhancement.'
Inventor(s) include Salah, Abdellatif; and Wu, Chih-Hsiang.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a delay status reporting enhancement. A UE (102) receives (410), from a network entity (104), a configuration for a DSR of data in a logical channel buffer. The configuration indicates a first remaining time threshold for triggering the DSR. The UE (102) transmits (416), to the network entity (104), the DSR when a first remaining delay time to a discard of the data in the logical channel buffer of a first logical channel is less than the first remaining time threshold. The DSR indicates the first remaining delay time for the first logical channel and a second remaining delay time for a second logical channel."
The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 27, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/049005.
