MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004066 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'decorative pattern formation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Gurpreet Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A decorative pattern formation assistive device, comprising a circular frame 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 that is accessed by user for selecting a design pattern which is to be formed on surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for determining leveling of surface to extend multiple extendable L-shaped rods 4 for acquiring a stable orientation of frame 1, a sieve 5 is arranged with a motorized iris lid 6 to open for making pattern, a holographic projector 7 project virtual images of particular color on opened iris lid 6 in order to guide user to make use of a specific color at positions, and a multi-sectioned chamber 8 to grab an appropriate amount of color powder and spread grabbed powder on opened iris lid 6 as per projected color in order to make user-specified design pattern."
