MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110523 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'decentralized content-aware networking protocol.'
Inventor(s) include Suhani Dubey; and Dr. Pankaj Pathak.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a decentralized content-aware networking protocol (DeCANP) (100) designed to facilitate intelligent, resilient, and efficient data communication across distributed networks. The protocol eliminates centralized control by utilizing a decentralized routing framework that directs data packets according to content type, contextual relevance, and priority. It comprises a plurality of nodes A, B, and C (01, 02, and 03) configured to generate and transmit data packets; a content-aware routing module (04) to process and direct said packets; an adaptive scalability and control unit (05) to manage routing, load balancing, and resource allocation; and fault-tolerant mechanisms (06) to sustain operation during node or link failures. The invention enhances reliability, adaptability, and performance in heterogeneous environments such as IoT, cloud, and edge systems."
