According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a system (100) for detecting and locating wireless tags, including a data processing apparatus (102) and a plurality of passive wireless tags (104). The data processing apparatus (102) includes processing circuitry (200) configured to scan for wireless signals from at least one passive wireless tag (104), determine proximity based on a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value meeting a predefined threshold, monitor for signal disappearance for at least two seconds following proximity determination, confirm detection within one second prior to disappearance, and mark the tag (104) as located without requiring physical interaction. Each passive wireless tag (104) broadcasts an identifier via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) without requiring pairing or bidirectional communication."
