MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020050 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'daily essential product storage device.'

Inventor(s) include R. P. Agarwal; Naveen; Shamshad Hussain; and Dipika Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Daily essential product storage device, comprises of a hollow frame 1 configured with a stretchable sheet 2 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface of an enclosure, multiple suction cups 3 mapped on one end of frame 1 for allowing the user to affix frame 1 with surface, an imaging unit 4 mounted on frame 1 to detect any presence of user's hand in proximity to frame 1, a zipping arrangement 5 for opening the sheet 2 in view of allowing user to store essentials within frame 1, multiple collapsible members 6 providing multiple compartments to user for storing multiple essentials within sheet 2 as per their requirement, an odor sensor mapped on each of compartments to detect odor of essentials, an audio unit to notify user regarding unpleasant smell, along with projecting a laser projection unit 7 to illuminate compartments, aiding user to remove essentials form sheet 2."
