MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054285 A) filed by Immuvia Inc, Waltham, U.S.A., on June 5, for 'cytotoxic bispecific antibodies binding to dr5 and muc16 and uses thereof.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Bispecific binding molecules are disclosed, that bind to human MUC16 and to human death receptor 5 and can kill cancer cells expressing MUC16 and death receptor 5. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibodies, and therapeutic methods for using the antibodies."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/079313.
