MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020413 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'cylindrical roller bearing assembling device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Byomakesh Dash.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cylindrical roller bearing assembling device, comprises of a platform 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a rotatable circular plate 103, carved with gear-type teeth 104 arranged on platform 101 for positioning outer ring of a cylindrical roller bearing which is to be repaired, an imaging unit 105 installed on the platform 101 to determine dimensions of the roller bearing, an expandable pulley arrangement 106 integrated on the plate 103 to get expanded for properly accommodating roller bearing on the plate 103, a motorized circular sliding unit 107 integrated with an inverted L-shaped telescopically operated bar 108 to extend for positioning a vacuum hose 109 attached with free-end of bar 108 over retaining lips of the outer ring, and multiple motorized clippers integrated on periphery of plate 103 to acquire a grip on the outer ring for securing outer ring on the plate 103."
