Inventor(s) include Tsuda Takao; Ishiguro Tasuku; Sasa Tatsuro; Matsumoto Katsumasa; Shima Kaho; and Asada Yuki.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In a cylindrical battery as an example of an embodiment, a negative electrode (12) comprises: a non-opposing portion (43) that is wound 0.75 times or more on a winding-start side of an electrode assembly (14); and, at least in the non-opposing portion (43), a first maximal value (P1) and a second maximal portion (P2) in which the value of radius of curvature radius is a local maximum. The first maximal portion (P1) is positioned in a range in which an angle (?1) from a positive electrode start end (11x) toward a winding-end side with respect to a winding center (Z) of the electrode assembly (14) is between 180 and 280 inclusive. The second maximal portion (P2) is positioned in a range in which an angle (?2) from the first maximal portion (P1) toward the winding-end side is 80 5."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 15, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/045012.
