MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521091132 A) filed by Ranjit Chandrabhai Bose, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Sept. 23, for 'cutting edge robotized close die forging die welding system.'
Inventor(s) include Ranjit Chandrabhai Bose.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a Cutting Edge Robotized Die Welding System for repairing and regenerating dies in the forging and tool industries. The system employs a robotic welding arm 5 integrated with gouging, path creation, and simulation modules to achieve highly accurate and consistent weld deposition. Using specially designed metal cored welding wires, the system ensures higher deposition efficiency (80-98%), reduced material usage, lower machining time, and substantial savings in power and CNC 10 operations. Comparative studies show 30-80% savings in power, 15- 25% savings in machining, and 4-5 times higher productivity compared to conventional flood welding. The invention offers a cost- effective, safe, and eco-friendly solution for die regeneration, enabling continuous 24/7 operation with precision accuracy of 0.04 mm."
