MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011177 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'cut grass collecting device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sasmeeta Tripathy.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cut grass collecting device comprises of pair of concave rectangular plates 101 attached with one another by means of hinge 102, edges of plates 101 provided with sharp toothed edges 103 for cutting and picking up cut grass, telescopic link 104 attached with each of plates 101 for enabling user to acquire handle on plates 101, telescopic rods 105 installed at bottom region of rod provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 106 for smooth locomotion of plates 101, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 installed on link for recording and processing images in vicinity of plates 101, iris holes disposed along surface of plates 101 for separation of stones, suction pump in container 108 connected with opening in plate via conduit 109 for suction of cut grass, moisture sensor embedded in container 108 detecting moisture content of collected grass, Peltier unit 110 installed in container 108 impart heat and remove moisture."
