MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441076682 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Oct. 9, 2024, for 'customized nail cutting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A customized nail cutting device comprises a frame 1 installed with a first and second link 3 pivoted to each other via a BLDC 4 motor, an artificial intelligence enabled image capturing module 5 determining length of a user's nail, a microphone 6 installed with the frame 1 receiving voice commands from the user, a platform 7 integrated with the first link 2 towards the positioned palm in close proximity to the nails, plurality of sliders 8 integrated on the platform 7 each mounted with a cutting blade 9 to orient the blade 9 s, a pressure sensor configured with each of the blade 9 for determining a pressure with which the blade 9 cut the nails, and plurality of suction units 10 installed on the slab for collecting the cut nails simultaneously while actuation of the blade 9."
