MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071004 A) filed by Chandigarh Engineering College, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 19, 2024, for 'customized food container manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Shanky Goyal; Dr. Rubal Jeet; and Dr. Rini Saxena.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A customized food container manufacturing device, comprising having a display panel 102 accessed by a user for providing input regarding number and dimensions of food container, a chamber 103 suspended for storing biodegradable raw material, a valve 104 to dispense an appropriate amount of each of material into a vessel 105, a motorized blade 106 for shredding and churning material to form mixture, a motorized iris lid 107 for dispensing an optimum amount of solution from vessel 105, a molding tray 108 for receiving dispensed solution, a sliding unit 110 for translating tray 108 along sliding unit 110, a pair of motorized grippers 114 to acquire a grip and position containers on a conveyor belt 115, a receptacle 117 arranged inside housing 101 onto which user is required to load food items which are to be packed and grippers 114 for gripping a cover stored in a storage unit 122."
