MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011171 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'curtain hanging device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mohanty.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A curtain hanging device comprises of a telescopic bar 101 attached perpendicularly on a rectangular plate 102 mounted in a pair on a wall surface, a microphone 111 receives an audio command from the user regarding fixing a curtain rod, a circular flap 103 attached at an end of the bar 101, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 107 determines a diameter of curtain rod, a circular slider 104 mounted on an inner periphery of the flap 103, a plurality of pneumatic pushers 105 mounted on the circular slider 104 to push suction cups 106 against the curtain rod for gripping the curtain rod within the flap 103, an L-shaped telescopic link 108 provides additional grip onto curtain rod to prevent slipping of rod within flap 103, and a telescopic gripper 110 for deploying or retracting curtain hanging on rod."
