MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517062888 A) filed by Hioki E. E. Corporation, Nagano, Japan, on July 1, for 'current sensor and measurement device.'
Inventor(s) include Xia, Peiyu; Ikeda, Kenta; Nakazawa, Koki; and Karasawa, Yuki.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This electric current sensor comprises: an annular magnetic core; a pair of windings including a plurality of winding portions connected in series, the windings being wound around on different parts of the magnetic core; and a plurality of resistive elements for each of the windings, the plurality of resistive elements each being connected in parallel to each of the winding portions of the windings. The electric current sensor also comprises: a return wire that has one end being connected to one end of one of the windings and the other end extending, along the part of the magnetic core around which the one winding is wound, from the one end of the one winding to the vicinity of the position of the other end of the one winding; and a return wire that has one end being connected to one end of the other winding and the other end extending, along the part of the magnetic core around which the other winding is wound, from the one end of the other winding to the vicinity of the position of the other end of the other winding. The electric current sensor outputs a signal indicating the difference between the output of the one winding and the return wire, and the output of the other winding and the return wire."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 08, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/044051.
