MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058475 A) filed by Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on June 18, for 'csi feedback method, transmitter device and receiver device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a CSI feedback method, a transmitter device and a receiver device. A CSI sample set is subjected to clustering to obtain clustering centers, and the clustering centers, which are obtained by means of clustering, are taken as CSI feedback codebooks. CSI feedback realized on the basis of such CSI feedback codebooks may have the scenario-specific performance advantage based on data driving, thereby improving the CSI feedback performance. The CSI feedback method comprises: a transmitter device coding target CSI according to CSI feedback codebooks to obtain a target feedback bitstream; and the transmitter device transmitting the target feedback bitstream, wherein the CSI feedback codebooks are K clustering centers, which are obtained by means of clustering CSI samples in a first data set, the first data set comprises S CSI samples, both K and S are positive integers, K = 2B S, and B is the number of CSI feedback bits."
